A diffusion line from their infamous secret Love Fever parties sees the boys take their debauched yet gentlemanly brand of dance to a new monthly at The Book Club - our favourite little Shoreditch basement club.
It's not the seedy, underground, specials that are our Love Fever events.
It is however a lot of fun.

Anyone who has made it down to an OBH party over the last 3 months will know of their a sleazy leftfield disco charms. The Book Club had previously had a programme excluding dance music from their events, but with Andy Bird's boyish charms & friends such as Robert Owens, Blackjoy and Crazy P's Ron Basejam flying in to play for them, they simply couldn't resist!
This month sees Gavin Sutherland AKA Fudge Fingas dropping in for the launch of his long awaited LP on Trus'me's Prime Numbers label. This soft spoken sweet fingered Scotsman as one to watch in 2011. Expect banter on the mic, some live renditions of his tracks and a heady mixture of deep house music, disco & maybe some Sun Ra to keep the dancers on their toes.
He'll be joined by House of Traps, the elusive head honcho of Firecracker Recordings. When the first release on Firecracker Recordings first hit the shops back in 2004, music fans and collectors were scratching their heads wondering where exactly it came from. The lush beatdown-inspired house contained on the lavishly packaged ten-inch suggested that it originated from Detroit, but nothing could've been further from the truth. Firecracker is actually the brainchild of Edinburgh's Lindsay Todd (who now goes under the name House Of Traps and will be jointing us on the night).
Also the Love Fever boys Alex & Andy will be testing out some music as they gear up towards next week's Love Fever Valentines party and also our resident DJ and Juno blogster Aaron Coultate with his usual blend of mid tempo niceness. Whilst upstairs things get a little bit wonky as Steff Steffo plays a decks n effects laptop wizard session upstairs. Expect air horn sound effects and dire straits in the upstairs bar while it gets sweaty in the basement.

Forget about the post Xmas slumber as One Bad Habit step up with another top draw booking in the form of house music legend, and we don't use the word lightly, Robert Owens doing an exclusive disco set for us. From his seminal early singing and production career with classics such as Can U Feel it, Tears, and many more, Robert has remained an in demand vocalist and collaborator right up to the current generation of producers such as Henrik Schwarz, Cold Cut.
But we're not letting him play house music, this is going to be a straight up vinyl only classics set. A great way to start the year, we think. This one is a gig we've been trying to confirm for the last 3-4 years since a two hour drunken conversation about Paradise Garage (he played there), disco music and hi fi nerdery with Robert in a rockabilly night in a strip club this one has finally come good.
Joining us on the night will also be scenester, dj, party promotor Derren Smart who wil be bringing the heat as excuses and resolutions are put aside for what promises to be another pants down One Bad Habit party following sell outs for their last two with Blackjoy and Jim from Crazy P.
Expect sleazy disco, funk and proto west coast balearica in the upstairs bar while it gets sweaty in the basement.

Deeply rooted in House, Disco & Soul, Wolf music have forged an identity for themselves as one of the hottest labels to keep your eye on. Having formed only a couple of years ago, they have already released records with the likes of The Revenge, Greymatter, KRL, Session Victim, Cottam and Eddie C to name a few.
Expect paw to the floor and plenty of underground disco bullets from our residents and the Wolf pack and tonights party we welcome down the inimitable Jim Baron from Crazy P who'll be in full anagrammed alter ego mode as the one, the only, Ron Basejam.
Leaving his day job aside as the creative powerhouse behind Crazy P, 2020 Vision recording artist and releases on Wolf + Lamb, to name but a few, Mr Basejam saw his debut album (on Yam Who's ISM label) move mountains on it's release. Armed with a multitude of analogue synths, drum machines and cosmic FX, and backed by the vocal talents of Crazy P's Miss Danielle Moore and Holly Backler and a host of his favourite musicians his "Deep And Meaningless" LP was the soundtrack to our summer moving from the past and flying effortlessly into the future. With serious players backing the release such as DJ's Dam-Funk, The Revenge, Maurice Fulton, Greg Wilson, Benji B, Ashley Beedle, DJ Harvey, Red Rack'em & a radio one feature with Gilles Peterson (see links below).

Expect sleazy disco, funk and proto west coast balearica in the upstairs bar while it gets sweaty in the basement to sex drive dance rhythms as the boys are joined by pals, the revolutionary and unintentionally fashionable Parisian enigma Blackjoy and the international man of mystery who is Space resident Ian Blevins. Add to that infamous Shoreditch sex-bomb Rachel Ciandella completing the line up for a night of East London prime time dance heaven.
A loose affair filled with late night disco, elitist house and nocturnal naughtiness, guaranteed fun till the lights come on at the especially extended 4am license.
